Shaping the future talent
The New Energy research group provides the Turku University of applied sciences students with opportunities for being involved with the research group’s activities through traineeships, assistant work and thesis assignments.
We also produce several courses/study modules for the Environmental, Energy and Chemical Engineering degree program. The degree is a four-year Bachelor’s degree, where students become equipped with skills for creative problem-solving, development and application of technological solutions. Renewable energy is one of the three main fields of specialization that the students can choose. Some examples of the courses that the NERC provides in the degree include
• Renewable Energy Systems -module
• Distributed Energy Systems -module
• Power Electronic Systems -module
